The South Florida Cooperator’s Condo, HOA & Co-op Expo

Become a better board member, hone your management skills and earn continuing education credits by attending The South Florida Cooperator’s third annual Condo, HOA & Co-op Expo on December 11th at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.

Admission is FREE for the number one trade show in the South Florida area, and show hours are from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Check www.fl-expo.com for registration details and more information.

Now in its third year, the South Florida Cooperator’s Expo has grown into the largest trade show of its kind in the Sunshine State. The convenient Broward County location, the more than 300 vendors in attendance, and the combined knowledge and expertise of the industry experts that are participating make this a must-attend event for those in the condo, HOA and co-op industry.

It’s a one-stop custom-built marketplace for vendors, products and ideas that you can’t afford to miss. And unlike the impersonal touch of social media, you can meet face-to-face with the professionals you need.

Education and More

The 2014 expo is also a great place to learn new things or brush up on what you already know. The trade show will offer a full roster of educational seminars, many of which offer CEU or CAM credits. These free seminars are specifically designed to help anyone involved in the administration of a residential building, condo or homeowners association in South Florida. All registered attendees can earn CEUs and board certification credit through their attendance at one or more of the seminars.

Seminar presenters include the law firm of PeytonBolin, PL; Associa, a nationwide property management firm; SNAP Collections by AFS, a financial services and collections firm; ElectraServe Power Systems, an electrical contractor; and the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR). The South Florida Cooperatorwill also be presenting a series of seminars addressing legal, maintenance and management topics.

Free Help and Advice

Ever try getting free advice from a lawyer? Well, you actually can at the Expo. In addition to networking and education opportunities, the Expo will feature free advice booths staffed by professionals from a wide array of industries, waiting to answer any and all community association and building-related questions you might have. If you have legal questions about your association, financial questions, or questions about day-to-day management of your building community, you can stop by one of the booths for answers from leading legal, management, maintenance and financial professionals.

It’s a Win-Win

Attending the South Florida Cooperator’s Expo can also make you a winner in more ways than one. The Expo features dozens of raffles and giveaways throughout the day—and just by attending you could be eligible for the Grand Prize Reserve Fund giveaway, courtesy of The South Florida Cooperator and Yale Robbins Publications LLC. One attendee’s name will be drawn at random to win a $2,500 contribution to their building or association's reserve fund. The winner will be drawn after registration has closed, and a check for the winnings will be made payable to the winner’s association, care of their management company. Only board members qualify to enter the reserve fund drawing, and attendance at the Expo is required for eligibility.
