The South Florida Cooperator’s third annual Condo, HOA & Co-op Expo has arrived and will offer a full day of networking and education at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center on December 11th, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
With 300 vendors, a full roster of educational programming, and its convenient location, the South Florida Cooperator’sExpo has grown into the largest trade show of its kind in the Sunshine State—and admission is FREE. (Visit www.fl-expo.com for registration details and more information!) It’s a one-stop, custom-built marketplace for vendors, products and ideas that you can’t afford to miss. And what’s more you can meet in person, in real time, with the service professionals you need.
A Learning Experience
One of the main reasons board members, managers, and owners visit the show is The South Florida CooperatorExpo’s free educational seminars. The 2014 seminar panels not only provide in-depth discussion of legal, administrative, management and financial concerns important to the region's HOA managers, board members, and residents—many offer CEU or CAM credits. All registered attendees can earn CEUs and board certification credit through their attendance at one or more of the seminars.
The day’s roster will include: Can You Hear Me Now? Improving Board/ Management Communication, presented by Christine Evans, CPM, PCAM, of Associa; Community Association Collections and Accounts Receivable, presented by: SNAP Collections’ Mitch Drimmer; Governing Smart - Mastering the Business of Your Association, presented by Attorney Jane Bolin of PeytonBolin, PL; Stop False Alarms and Unwanted Fees, presented by David Nelson of Absolute Fire Protection; and The Do's and Don'ts of Budgeting and Reserves: What You Need to Know, presented by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s Lazaro Gonzalez.
Free Help and Advice
Admission isn't the only thing that's free at the Expo—in addition to networking and education opportunities, the Expo will feature free advice booths staffed by professionals from a wide array of industries, waiting to answer any and all community association and building-related questions you might have.
Winner, Winner
And attending the Expo can make you a winner. The event will feature dozens of raffles and giveaways throughout the day—including the Grand Prize Reserve Fund giveaway, courtesy of The South Florida Cooperatorand Yale Robbins Publications LLC.
